On August 16th, 2012, we were blessed with a new Grand Boy, Coleman David Voris! This is our 3rd grand child but he as special as the 1st and 2nd ones. He is one more reason for me to attend the Mom’s Day of Prayer in 2013. What is that “one more reason” for you to attend a MDOP in your area in 2013? Or what is that “one reason” for you to coordinate a MDOP in your area in 2013?

This year in my hometown the 2013 MDOP will be on Saturday, January 19, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at noon. The Coordinator is Abbi Peoples, a Youth Minister’s wife. The excitement is growing in my heart as I hear her ideas and watch her passion for this day. My prayer for my children and their families at the 2013 MDOP will be that they “will know the truth and that the truth will set them free” – John 8:32.
I encourage you to ask God for a specific scripture to pray over your children for the 2013 MDOP and to continue to pray that scripture all year long for them. Please let me hear from you of how God used that scripture in their lives. I am expecting GREAT things from all those prayers!! Don’t Give Up! I don’t know your circumstances but I know we must not give up! God has a plan and we must stay focused on who He is because Satan is determined for us to focus on his lies of who God is not. Satan tries to tell me often – “God is not powerful enough to work in that situation in your family.” Well, I look at my own life and know that God can do anything because He softened my very hard heart. And I also look at Paul whom God blinded to get his attention in Acts 9 and it worked!
