2011 Fall Worldwide Mom’s Day of Prayer Update

“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. NOTHING is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
My 18 month-old granddaughter, Rebekah, ask every night if she is outside – “Moon?” That means….”Where’s the moon?” It is so cute and amazing that at this age she knows to look for the moon! And how does she know about the moon? There is a book that her mom and dad read her over and over and it is about the moon. And it just makes me realize that the more I read God’s word, I will truly understand that NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR HIM which in turn changes my prayer life and brings me to a place where I truly believe God is who He says HE is. It’s a “simple, child-like faith!”
Then our 15 month-old grandson, Preston, LOVES tires!! He will ride in his little red wagon but he LOVES touching the tires most of all. Any toy that is a vehicle you can be guaranteed that Preston’s main interest is the tires that are on them not the vehicle. His focus is TIRES – TIRES – TIRES!! This makes me think about my life….what is my focus? When I pray am I focused on NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD or am I focused on how big I believe my issue to be. Unfortunately at times I believe that God just cannot handle what is going on in my life. My focus is – THE ISSUE – THE ISSUE – THE ISSUE!! Not – NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD!!
I want to challenge each of you to believe NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD! GOD IS ABLE!!!
And I want to end this update by challenging you to pray this for your children, children’s spouses, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews from now to the end of December that they will know that NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD!
Will you host a Mom’s Day of Prayer in your area? Your community needs one!

Praying,
Kathy
